You tend to meet some interesting people when working in the haunted house industry. Some of them, you get along with wonderfully. The others, you wish to commit unspeakable acts upon... and not the pleasant kind.

A perfect example would be this pale teenage boy. While we are all working our asses off to get this place built, he refuses to do any labour of any kind. Why he's out there during construction and NOT working, I don't know. He even tells people that he is a light sensitive vampire and he's allergic to the UV rays in the florescent lights in the building. He will point to his cheeks and tell everyone who will listen that that is why his cheeks have turned pink.

No, you moron. Your cheeks are not pink due to some imaginary allergy... your cheeks are pink because outside, it's 103+ degrees Fahrenheit. Inside, it's like a goddamn EZ-Bake Oven. If you won't work, then GO THE FUCK HOME.

*fumes* I hate tolerating stupidity.

I know I haven't posted awhile... really anywhere. Since the whole thing with my grandmother went down, I pretty much isolated myself save for my real life friends. I just really haven't had the energy or desire to post on forums or livejournal. I'll try to do better.

We're helping open up a new haunted house this year. It's about 45 minutes away from where we live. It's been grueling and exhausting work. The end results will make it all worth it, though.

Dad took Jeff and I to New Mexico. He took his girlfriend, as well as two of her kids. It wasn't near as awkward as I thought it would be, although I just about killed the son. I even threatened to remove his ability to spread his genetic code. He really did drive me batshit.

Jeff and I have started watching Heroes from the beginning in preparation for Season 3. I had never seen Heroes before, and it is OMGAWESOME.

Oh oh oh! The new Harry Potter trailer? GO SEE IT NOW. I can't wait! Eeeeeeeeee!

And I'm going through a horrible dry spell, art wise. It's unnerving to no end. I haven't been able to sketch anything since my grandmother's last week in the hospital.

LUSH NA increased its prices insanely. Much more than they said they would! I'm so angry... especially since I use their shampoo bars and conditioners religiously(hello, wonders for my hair). I was ready to try new things, like the Buffy body butter and Ocean Salt exfoliant... now? I'll only be ordering said products from LUSH UK, and rarely. I hate the fact that I'm probably now going to have to be on a search for a decent new shampoo and conditioner. Argh.

Mom's offering to help us out a bit 'til Jeff gets a job. He's trying to apply at bars currently.
Our friend Sean took us to Dairy Queen last night, and I believe Jeff has food poisoning. He went to bed quite early this evening.

Currently I'm looking for larger sizes of the pictures on the Dresden Dolls site to make a layout so I can use my new mood icons. Difficult, difficult!

Eva's journal is friends only. I write very personal thoughts and feelings, irrational or not, in this journal. Comment if you wish to be added.
